A new opening video for the anime series "Yuusha Kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku" (English: Sentenced to Be a Hero) has been released. It shows the series' characters in action, accompanied by the energetic song "Kill the Noise" by the Japanese rock band SPYAIR.

The song, written by band member MOMIKEN and composed by UZ, has been the official theme song of the series since January 15, 2026. It is available on various music streaming platforms. A physical CD single containing the track is scheduled for release on February 11.

The lyrics of "Kill the Noise" deal with perseverance and the fight against internal and external resistance. Lines like "Whatever it takes / I won't give up" and the recurring call "Just kill the noise" thematically fit the anime's dark story.

The series tells the story of Xylo Forbartz, a former commander who is punished for a crime by being given the title "Hero" and forced into a penal unit on the front lines against demon lords. The characters' precarious struggle for survival is reflected in the song's fighting spirit.

The band SPYAIR is known for other anime openings, such as for the series "Gintama". "Kill the Noise" fits into their repertoire of catchy and energetic rock songs.
