The exciting trailer for Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 was revealed at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, along with the voice actors for the project's short films. Unlike its predecessor, which focused on Japanese creators and anime studios, Volume 2 brings together animation studios from Spain, the UK, India, Ireland, South Africa, Chile, South Korea, France, and Japan.
The announced voice cast includes talents such as Úrsula Corberó, Luis Tosar, Bebe Cave, Charithra Chandran, Denis Lawson, Maxine Peak, Lillete Dubey, Neeraj Kabi, Anjelica Huston, Cynthia Erivo, Daveed Diggs, Kate Dickie, Daniel Dae Kim, and many more. Fans can also look forward to the Korean dub of "Journey to the Dark Head," featuring voice actors from the original Star Wars films.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 will premiere on May 4 (Star Wars Day) on Disney+. The only Japan-set short film in the project, "The Pit," was produced by the American animation studio D'Art Shtajio in collaboration with Lucasfilm, with LeAndre Thomas serving as director, writer, and executive producer.
