The anime adaptation of the series "29-sai Dokushin Chūken Bōkensha no Nichijō" (English title: Daily Life of a 29-Year-Old Single Middle-Ranked Adventurer) is planned for January 2026. At the same time, first visual materials as well as additions to the voice cast were announced.
The voice cast will be expanded by the following persons:
- Shizuka Itō (伊藤静) as Veronica Bari, a succubus and old acquaintance of the main character
- Yūki Kuwahara (桑原由気) as Anyango, a dwarf with the career aspiration of becoming a blacksmith
- Tomotaka Ōno (大野智敬) as Rishatto, an outspoken masochist and servant of Veronica
All three voice actors have published personal comments regarding their participation.
The published first key visual shows the main character Hajime Shinonome together with his partner Rirui and the friend Anyango while exploring a dungeon.
The story is about the experienced adventurer Hajime, who takes in the orphan girl Rirui and from then on leads a shared life with her. It is an adventure fantasy story.
Direction and series composition are handled by Toshinori Fukushima (福島利規), the character design comes from Kayō Nagamori (長森佳容). The animation is produced by the studio HORNETS.
