Start Date and New Promo for "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!" Announced

The TV series adaptation of the manga "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!" by Syundei will premiere on April 1. Along with this announcement, a third promotional video has been released, offering further insights into the production.

The story follows high school student Okuto Nakamura, whose shy nature becomes his downfall when he falls in love with his classmate Aiki Hirose. The plot thrives on Nakamura's overactive imagination and the resulting misunderstandings as he deals with his unrequited affection. A characteristic of the work is its visual style, which deliberately draws on the aesthetics of the 1980s and 1990s.

The new promotional video includes scenes such as Nakamura blushing from embarrassment, as well as a snapshot showing the duo together against a setting sun.

The main voice cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi, Yuki Sakakibara, Takuya Eguchi, and Ai Fairouz. Additional voice roles are performed by, among others, Yukihiro Notsuyama, Atsushi Tamaru, Makoto Koichi, and Yume Maibara. The ensemble is rounded out by Tsubasa Sasa and the two renowned voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi and Junko Takeuchi.

Direction is handled by Aoi Umeki, who also wrote the screenplay and designed the characters. The animation production is carried out by Studio Drive.
