Start date for "Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!?" announced

The official premiere timeframe for the anime television series "Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!?" (Original title: Otaku ni Yasashii Gal wa Inai!?) has been announced. Additionally, a new key visual and a first promotional video have been presented to the public.

The production is being handled by TMS Entertainment's Studio 6. Shin Mita is directing, while Kazuhiko Inukai is in charge of series composition. The character design is by Rion Matsuda. The voice cast includes Shō Komura as Takuya Seo, Konomi Inagaki as Kei Amane, and Yū Serizawa as Kotoko Ijichi.

The story revolves around an introverted high school student whose daily life takes an unexpected turn when he connects with two popular classmates through shared interests.

Notable artists have been secured for the musical production. The opening theme is contributed by the K-pop group (G)I-DLE. The ending theme for the episodes is musically provided by the band sunsoogirl.

Prior to the nationwide broadcast, several accompanying activities are planned. These include a public radio recording and an advance screening of selected scenes, which will be attended by members of the creative team.
