During a panel discussion at Anime Expo, Studio Trigger showcased an announcement video for its upcoming anime project, a sequel to "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt." The clip featured excerpts from the earlier part of the series.
Studio Trigger also announced the return of Shigeto Koyama, who will contribute as a designer for the series. While animator Sushio has expressed interest in working on the project, the studio has not yet officially confirmed his involvement.
