The popular TV anime adaptation of the "Sugar Apple Fairy Tale" light novel series is entering a new phase. As recently confirmed, the second part of the anime will premiere on July 7, featuring new faces in the cast and the release of a promotional video.

The cast for the upcoming cour includes Nobuhiko Okamoto as Orland Langston, Kōji Okino as King, Atsushi Tamaru as Valentine, Shōya Chiba as Nadil, Sōma Saitō as Gladice, and Manaka Iwami as Noah. These new talents are expected to bring fresh dynamics to the ongoing story.

Additionally, a new manga arc titled "Sugar Apple Fairy Tale: Ginsatōshi no Ie" (The House of the Silver Sugar Master) will debut this summer, thanks to the efforts of Cosaji. As for the music, the opening theme song titled "Surprise" will be performed by artist Rei Nakashima, while the ending song "Door" will be sung by voice actress Nao Tōyama.

This second cour follows the first, which aired from January 6 to March 24, showcasing the journey of characters such as Anne Halford, Challe Fen Challe, Mythril Lid Pod, Hugh Mercury, Kat, Jonas Anders, and Keith Powell. The animation work was handled by J.C. Staff under the direction of Youhei Suzuki, with series composition by Seishi Minakami and character designs by Haruko Iizuka adapted for animation.

"Sugar Apple Fairy Tale" is set in a world where fairies are auctioned off to the highest bidder and explores the unique relationship between the human Anne Halford and her fairy bodyguard Challe.
