The first episode of "Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta" with the cheeky title "The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses" transports us into a world full of youthful charm and amusing antics. Here, we meet our main characters, the moody Mie (brought to life by Wakayama Shion) and the lovestruck Komura (voiced by Itou Masahiro).

Amidst their school routine, a humorous incident occurs when Mie, who has once again forgotten her glasses, is forced to share a textbook with Komura. This routine event triggers a volcano of emotions in Komura, who treats the shared textbook like a newly discovered relic.

Adding to the comedy of errors, Mie, without her visual aid, mistakes Komura's shoes for her own. Thus, our poor, bewildered hero Komura witnesses Mie unknowingly prancing around in his footwear.

Mie is no ordinary schoolgirl—her charming eccentricities take center stage. Her unusual tendency to switch into the language of the samurai era fascinates Komura so much that he wishes she would forget her glasses again. And lo and behold, the universe obliges, and Mie forgets them once more the next day.

Another layer of Mie's forgetfulness is revealed when she sleepily recounts her father's similar habit of forgetting his glasses, further stacking the pile of endearing mishaps. Throughout the episode, we witness the interplay between Mie's amusing quirks and Komura's internal monologues reacting to her.

With this introduction, the curtain falls on the first episode.
