For the upcoming anime adaptation of "Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Ota-kun" (English title: Ms. Kashiwada Doesn't Show Her Feelings and Mr. Ota Definitely Does), a new summer visual as well as a second preview video have been released.
The summer visual shows a summery classroom atmosphere, in which the titular Kashiwada-san is surrounded by her friends Ota-kun, Tadokoro-kun, Sada-kun, Tabuchi-san, and Odajima-san. The depiction emphasizes the importance of friendly connections.
The second preview video begins with a scene in which Kashiwada-san and Ota-kun clean a pool together. The clip shows further shared moments of the two main characters as well as scenes with their classmates.
Simultaneously, the musical contributions were officially confirmed: The Opening Theme "Hyakumensou" (百面相) will be performed by Hashimelo (はしメロ), while the Ending Theme "Amanojaku Hero" (あまのじゃくヒーロー) comes from Sangatsu no Phantasia (三月のパンタシア). Both titles are partially heard in the new video.
The plot of the series revolves around the reserved middle school student Kashiwada-san and her expressive classmate Ota-kun. The role of Kashiwada-san is voiced by Akane Fujita (藤田茜).
