"Summer Pockets" with new actors, new main image, first promo clip and details about the title song

The TV anime adaptation "Summer Pockets" has revealed a series of new updates, including additional cast members, an impressive key visual, the first promotional video, and details about the theme song.

"Summer Pockets," originally a romantic adventure game by Key—known for titles like 'CLANNAD' and 'Angel Beats!'—tells the story of Hiori Takahara, a high school student who travels to Torishirojima during summer vacation to sort through the belongings of his late grandmother. During his stay, Hiori forms meaningful relationships with the island's residents and grapples with themes such as memory, friendship, and personal growth.

As recently announced, Saku Ichinomiya will voice the role of Miki Nomura, alongside a talented ensemble that includes Sahomi Koyama as Shizuhisa Miki, Aimi Tanaka as Umi Kato, Megumi Takamoto as Kyoko Misaki, Minoru Shiraishi as Kobato Naruse, Konomi Suzuki as Inari, Kentarō Kumagai as Ryōichi Mitani, and Tenzen Kano as Yōhei Hamada.

In addition to the expanded voice cast, the anime will feature an opening theme titled "Arcatell" and an ending theme titled "Lasting Moment," both performed by Konomi Suzuki.

The first trailer showcases key scenes and interactions between the characters, offering fans a glimpse into the visual and emotional tone of the upcoming episodes. The recently released key visual highlights the tranquil yet mysterious atmosphere of Torishirojima, capturing the essence of summer and the island's enchanting charm.

Produced by feel., known for works such as "Tsuki ga Kirei," "ISLAND," and "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected. Complete," 'Summer Pockets' is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi, with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi and character design by Mai Ōtsuka. Returning voice actors include Shoya Chiba as Hiori Takahara, Yoshimi Ohara as Shiro Naruse, Natsumi Takamori as Sō Gamon, and Emiri Iwai as Tsumugi Vander. New to the cast is Nene Hieta as Ōga Kujima.
