"Super Kaguyahime!": Original anime with global Netflix launch announced

The original anime production "Super Kaguyahime!" will be available exclusively on Netflix worldwide on January 22, 2026. It is the first feature film directorial project by Shogo Yamashita, known for his work on opening sequences for series such as "Jujutsu Kaisen", "Chainsaw Man", and "Urusei Yatsura".

The animation is produced by Studio Colorido in collaboration with Studio Chromat, which is led by director Yamashita. The main roles are cast with Yuko Natsuyoshi as Kaguya, Anna Nagase as Ayeha Sakayose, and Saori Hayami as Yachiyo Tsukimi. A first advance trailer shows Yachiyo Tsukimi, played by Saori Hayami, performing a newly mixed version of "World is Mine CPK! Remix" for the anime.
