The light novel series "Sweet Reincarnation" by Nozomu Koryu, blending fantasy, culinary arts, and reincarnation, is receiving an update. The official website of the series recently announced the premiere date for the TV anime adaptation and released a second promotional video. The anime will debut on July 3.



Alongside the broadcast date, details about the series' theme songs were also revealed. The talented sana from sajou no hana will perform the opening theme song "Brand New Day," while YuNi will treat fans to the ending theme song "Fūmizekka" (Delicious Taste). A preview of the opening song can be seen in the newly released promotional video.

The anime features Ayumu Murase as Pastry Mille Morteln, Natsumi Fujiwara as Marcarullo Dorova, and Maaya Uchida as Ruminiito Aidilichpa, among others.

The creative direction of the anime is helmed by Naoyuki Kuzuya, who serves as director and collaborates with Synergy SP and Studio Comet. Mitsutaka Hirota is in charge of the script, and Tomoko Miyakawa handled the character design. The soundtrack, a crucial element of any anime, was composed by Hiroshi Nakamura.

In the manga adaptation of the novels by Seriko Iida, the protagonist is a 9-year-old boy named Pastry Mille Morteln. He is the heir to his father's legacy and also carries the reincarnated soul of a pastry chef. The boy's dreams of a world filled with delicious confections are intertwined with his need to learn combat, manage his newly discovered magical abilities, and protect his village.
