Last Thursday, the official website for the anime Sweet Reincarnation was updated and presented new teasers and promotional images for the upcoming series. The video features the production team and the main cast, which is scheduled for July 2023. The main cast includes Ayumu Murase, Natsumi Fujiwara, Maaya Uchida, and Kaede Hondo. They will play the characters Konditorei Morteln, Marcarlo Doroba, Ruminiito Aidilichpa, and Licorice Mill Fubaareku.



Sweet Reincarnation is a literary series written by Nozomu Koryu and illustrated by Yasuyuki Shuri. The series began in February 2015 on the self-publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō and was later picked up by TO Books. There is also a manga adaptation, which has been written by Midori Tomizawa and illustrated by Seriko Iida since 2017, serialized in the publisher's Comic Corona magazine.

The main character, the nine-year-old pastry chef Mille Morteln, is the heir to his father and the reincarnation of a dissatisfied master pastry chef. He dreams of a land full of sweets but first must overcome many challenges, such as learning combat techniques and using his magical abilities to protect his village from bandits. However, his true goal is to bake the perfect apple pie.
