“Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II” is set to premiere in October, new footage revealed

The second season of "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II" is officially scheduled for October. This announcement was accompanied by the release of a second promotional video and the first visual teaser.

"Sword Art Online Alternative" is a spin-off of the acclaimed "Sword Art Online" series by Reki Kawahara: "Gun Gale Online" delves into the world of Gun Gale Online (GGO). The story revolves around the protagonist Llenn and her archenemy Pitohui, who engage in high-stakes battles. This virtual reality MMORPG was first introduced in the second season of the main "SAO" series, where the characters Kirito and Sinon jumped into the fray. The first season of this spin-off aired in 2018 and captivated fans with intense shootouts and dynamic character interactions.

The newly released promotional material not only showcases Llenn's refreshed voice but also original illustrations and character designs by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The first images depict a confidently smiling Llenn, surrounded by familiar faces like Pitohui, Fukaziroh, and M, as well as the introduction of the rivals Eva, Shirley, and Clarence.
