In this episode of "Tales of Wedding Rings," the protagonist Satou is forced to flee his city together with Hime, the sage Alabaster, and Prince Marse as the terrifying Abyss Knights invade. During their escape, Satou discovers his current power limits and learns that he must obtain four additional rings to effectively combat these knights, with each ring requiring marriage to a different princess.

Their journey leads them to an inn, where Satou and Hime share a room as newlyweds. Hime expresses that their marriage is merely a formality, but upon seeing Satou's injuries from the battle, she is overwhelmed with guilt and leaves the room. Satou follows her and encounters Prince Marse, who shares his relief at not being chosen as the Ring King and praises Satou for his devotion, as he left his own world for love.

Encouraged by Marse's words, Satou returns to Hime and openly confesses his love, which is not merely platonic. Hime reciprocates these feelings but is troubled by the thought of Satou getting hurt or having to marry other princesses. However, Satou's explanation strengthens her resolve.

Back in their room, the two share a moment of intimacy that hints at the consummation of their marriage. Hime expresses her willingness, but Satou, sensing her discomfort, decides it is not the right time and prefers to enjoy their relationship gradually.

The narrative then shifts to their journey to Romca, a hidden village inhabited by elves. Here, they seek the princess of the Wind Ring, one of the four elemental rings Satou needs. Upon arrival, they are met with skepticism by the elven guards, who question Satou's potential success in their land.

When Satou and Hime meet the elven princess, she inquires about their physical intimacy. Satou's affirmative answer disgusts her, leading to her abrupt departure.
