At the beginning of the episode, Naofumi purchases two new slaves, Fohl and Atla, who are siblings. Atla is blind and bedridden, while Fohl fights in the underground coliseum to provide for her. Naofumi heals Atla with an elixir from Yggdrasil, and the two return to Lurolona Village, where they reunite with Sadeena and the other slaves.

The village now houses many people, including the newly acquired slaves. Naofumi and Raphtalia discuss the need to strengthen the village's defenses and increase their income through trade. Sadeena, who is infatuated with Naofumi, joins them, much to Raphtalia's displeasure.

When Atla relearns how to walk, the village is attacked by human slavers. Fohl and Atla attempt to defend their new home but are overpowered. Naofumi and his team return just in time to repel the attackers. The slavers are captured, and it is revealed that they belong to a noble family from a region that worships the Three Heroes. Naofumi decides to sell them as slaves to Siltvelt.

After the attack, Naofumi focuses on preparing for the upcoming battle with the Phoenix, the next Guardian Beast. He resets the levels of Sadeena and Fohl to benefit from his hero buffs. Meanwhile, Atla expresses her desire to grow stronger and protect her brother, mirroring Fohl's own feelings.

The episode ends with the revelation that the Spear Hero, Motoyasu, has been found, paving the way for a new mission.
