Good Smile Company released a teaser PV for its brand-new robot anime "Juoh Bujin Dandivine" on June 27, 2026. The roughly one-minute clip offers a first look at the titular combination robot and the main characters, and features the series' background music composed by Kento Asahina.

"Juoh Bujin Dandivine" is the first title of the "Combined God Series" project, launched by Good Smile Company to commemorate its 25th anniversary. The goal of the series is to produce a new, standalone robot anime series with corresponding toys year after year, thereby revitalizing the culture of combination robots. For this debut, Good Smile Company, Aniplex, Takara Tomy, and Toei have joined forces as partners.

The story is set 20 years after the combination robot Dandivine's victory over the mysterious enemies Aposdoll. The world enjoys peace, but the toy manufacturer Casga, which once grew big with Dandivine toys, is in a severe crisis. Company president Genjuro Shijima longs for the robot's return—and indeed, the Aposdoll reappear in Tokyo. Amid the chaos, high school student Gekiha Shijima is persuaded by his uncle Yusaku Kuroiwa, the former main pilot, to pilot Dandivine. Whether Casga can regain control of the toy industry and what the Aposdoll truly want will be revealed in the series.

The teaser PV provides a first glimpse of the three main characters: the tall but ordinary Gekiha (voiced by Takuma Terashima), his girlfriend Akane Kuzumi (Haruka Shiraishi), and his sharp-tongued sister Kirei (Saya Aizawa). The combination of the core robot Dande Ace and the three Devine Beasts—Slash Unicorn, Magna Titan, and Blaze Garuda—is also shown in action-packed scenes.

The series will air on Japanese television starting October 2026. Directed by Cao Yi, with series composition and screenplay by experienced Tokusatsu and anime writer Toshiki Inoue. The original character design is by Majiro, with animation adaptation by robin. The mecha design is by An (GOD BRAVE STUDIO), and sound direction by Yoshikazu Iwanami. Animation production is shared by Liden Films and Kayac Animation.

The title track "Juoh Bujin Dandivine" is performed by Takanori Nishikawa, who expressed his excitement in a video message: "I grew up with robot anime and am delighted to contribute to a work that carries the Japanese robot anime tradition to the world."

Even before the broadcast begins, two models of the combination robot are available for pre-order at Good Smile Company: the deluxe version "THE GATTAI DX DANDIVINE" for 29,500 yen and the action model "MODEROID DANDIVINE" for 5,500 yen (each including tax). Takara Tomy plans a high-quality toy under its premium brand T-SPARK. Additionally, a manga adaptation by TOGUCHI will start in the magazine Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh. At the "Good Smile Fest 2026" event on June 6/7, a mini plastic model of Dandivine was already distributed to visitors.

With "Juoh Bujin Dandivine," Good Smile Company ventures into new territory: the company, primarily known for Nendoroid and Figma figures, is positioning itself as an active content developer for the robot genre. The teaser PV is available on the series' official YouTube channel.
