The television animation series Katsugeki! Token Ranbu, which is based on Touken Ranbu-Online-game, had revealed a teaser video on Sunday through its official website; the title of the video is 'sword action introduction video.’ The video initiates the anime’s weapons animators.
The cast of the anime according to the news: Kento Hama as Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, Seiichiro Yamashita as Yagen Toshiro, Soma Saito as Tsurumaru Kuninaga, Ryohei Kimura as Izuminokami Kanesada, Junya Enoki as Horikawa Kunihiro, and Tooru Sakurai as Tonbokiri.
The opening theme song of the animation is performing by Soma Saito, and the ending theme song is performing by Kalafina. The anime series is directing by Toshiyuki Shirai at ufotable, and the music is composing by Hideyuki Fukasawa.
The company also revealed the details of additional staff members’ i.e. Weapons Animators: Masaru Obunai, Masayuki Kunihiro, and Masaru Kimura.

DMM’s game is all about Touken Ranbu who takes a well-known sword from Japanese history and infers as bishonen. The characters and the scenario of the story are designed by Nitroplus. The game was launched in Japan last year, and successfully made 1.5 million registered users.
The anime series Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru will be released in Japan on 2 October. The anime will air in Japan by Crunchyroll, and Funimation will publish the series with English-dub. In January 2018, a second season of the anime will release.
