Teaser visual, first trailer and new cast announced for "Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 2 - Fire Rat".

The second part of the Mononoke the Movie trilogy, titled "Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 2 – Fire Rat," has revealed its teaser visual, first trailer, and new cast details. This installment continues the story that began in July with "Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 1 – Karakasa."

Chapter 2 focuses on two central figures from the first chapter: Otafu Boton, voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, and Tokita Fuki, voiced by Yoko Hikasa. Boton is the daughter of the eldest Otafu and holds the highest position in the Ooku (the shogunate's women's quarters) as Otono-yori. Fuki, a commoner chosen by the emperor to become an Onchuro, also plays a key role.

Additional cast details include:

- Chō as Tokita Ryoro, father of Fuki and Saburoumaru.

- Ken'yuu Horiuchi as Otafu, Boton's father and the eldest official managing the shogunate's interests.

- Hiroshi Kamiya returns in his role as the Medicine Seller.

- Yūki Kaji reprises his role as Tokita Saburoumaru.

The teaser visual shows the Medicine Seller facing the Mononoke Fire Rat, accompanied by the slogan: "What can you not forgive?" The trailer begins with the Medicine Seller's return to the Ooku, revealing power struggles among high-ranking officials vying for the emperor's successor, as well as the conflicts between two daughters caught in these intrigues.
