A first promotional image for the upcoming television series of the manga-based story "Isshiki-san wa Koi o Shiritai." has been revealed to the public. The illustration provides an initial look at the artistic design of the animated adaptation. Simultaneously with the release of this teaser, initial details regarding the story's premise and the responsible production staff were announced. The direction will be handled by Kazuya Komai, while the studio Sakura Create is responsible for the animation production.

The underlying story, whose chapters appear in Monthly Shonen Ace, centers on a seventeen-year-old police inspector. The young woman, known for her exemplary and strict adherence to regulations, is completely unfamiliar with the concept of romance. By her side operates a kind-hearted, yet somewhat clumsy detective.
