Title protection for "Tele 5"

"Get on Air GmbH," the company of former "Tele 5" and "tm3" program director Jochen Kröhne, has secured the title rights of the former television program "Tele 5."

As can be read in the latest issue of the "Titelschutzanzeiger" (Title Protection Gazette), the title "Tele 5" has been protected in all spellings and forms of presentation.

This does not necessarily mean a revival of the channel, but it could have consequences, for example, for the numerous Tele 5 revival sites (e.g., http://www.tele5-chronik.de/).

From Wunschliste.de:

The channel "Tele 5," which emerged in 1988 from the niche channel "musicbox," was discontinued in 1993 or rather converted into the sports channel "DSF."

Today, the station is considered a cult channel due to its many innovative programming concepts. Campaigns like http://tele5.insidevision.de are collecting votes for a revival of the channel.

Update 17:10 by TM

It looks like Get On Air GmbH is really planning a relaunch of Tele5! At least if you go by the Titelschutzanzeiger. Get On Air has also secured titles for former shows that aired on Tele5! Including:

"Bitte Lächeln," "Musicbox."
