Television anime for "With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess" announced

An adaptation of the web manga series Kizu darake Seijo yori Houfuku wo Komete for television is in production. The English title of the plot is With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess. A first visual teaser and a preview video have already been released.

The story follows Lua Restoatt, a young woman in a kingdom shaped by a historical plague. In this society, people with healing powers are revered as "Saintesses" and serve the kingdom. Lua's special ability, however, is to transfer the injuries of others onto her own body, which has earned her the nickname "The Broken Saintess." After a severe disappointment and a personal betrayal, she vows never to heal again. Instead, she begins to use a secret second talent: the ability to inflict upon others the sufferings she once absorbed. Her path eventually crosses that of Prince Sven Geed Crone, who proposes an alliance to her.

The animation of the series is produced by Studio Comet. The direction is by Naoyuki Kuzuya. Character design is by Sayaka Aneasaki, and the musical score is by Satoshi Takarano and Karin Nakano. The voice of the main character Lua Restoatt is provided by Saori Oonishi. The plot is classified under the genres Fantasy and Romance.
