TenPuru Anime Announces Premiere Date and Unveils Third Promotional Video

The TV anime adaptation of Kimitake Yoshioka's manga "TenPuru - No One Can Live on Loneliness-" has revealed new details, including the premiere date, a new promotional video, and a preview of the opening theme. The anime, set to debut on July 8, marks a new chapter in Yoshioka's storytelling.



The official announcement on the anime's website set the stage for the unveiling of "TenPuru" on July 8.

Additionally, a third promotional video has been released, giving fans a glimpse of the opening song "Bonnō Paradise" (Paradise of Desires). The song, performed by Aimi—who also voices the character Yuzuki Aoba—offers a tantalizing preview of the musical and thematic elements of the upcoming anime.

The announced cast includes well-known names such as Masayuki Akasaka, Aimi, Yū Serizawa, Nanami Yamashita, Madoka Asahina, Sumire Uesaka, Chiaki Takahashi, and Chika Anzai. These actors are tasked with bringing the characters of "TenPuru" to life, with the five leading actresses also performing the series' theme song "Oidemase! Mikazukidera" in the voices of their respective characters.

Directed by Kazuomi Koga, the anime is being produced at Gekkō, with Masato Katsumata handling character designs and Yōhei Kashii in charge of the series' scripts.

The story follows the journey of Akemitsu Akegami, whose unexpected encounter with a woman leads him to become a Buddhist monk. However, the temple he chooses is unexpectedly filled with women, resulting in a fascinating blend of monastic and secular life.
