Tensei shitara Ken Deshita unveils second promo video

The official website for the anime Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita announced that the series will air on Japanese television on October 5. Additionally, the website presented a new trailer for the adaptation of the light novel series written by Yuu Tanaka, featuring a preview of the song "Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita," performed by Kishida Kyōdan & The Akeboshi Rockets, which serves as the anime's opening theme.



Shinji Ishihira is directing the anime at C2C. Takahiro Nagano is responsible for the composition and script of the series. Atsuko Saitou designs the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi (Log Horizon) composes the music.

Yuu Tanaka has been writing this fantasy isekai titled Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita for Shōsetsuka ni Narō since October 2015. In July 2016, Micro Magazine began the print publication of this light novel series with illustrations by Llo, with 12 volumes released so far. In addition to the light novel, there is also a manga adaptation of Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita. Tomowo Maruyama has been illustrating this comic version since December 2016 in Gentosha's Comic Boost magazine, which has compiled 11 volumes to date.

Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the light novel, manga, and spin-off manga, describing the story as follows:
