The Japanese publisher GC Novels announced the delay in the release of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Light Novel Volume 19. The date was originally scheduled for October 19 but has been postponed to November 30 due to production issues.
As an apology, the publisher shared an illustration from Light Novel Volume 19 on Twitter. The image hints at the next plot development, showcasing the battle between Team Rimuru and a new group (likely the angels first mentioned in Volume 18).
Fuse initially published the story as a web serial on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website from 2013 to 2016. Micro Magazine began releasing the series in print form in 2014. Taiki Kawakami launched the manga adaptation in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in 2015.
