Rimuru explains the Tengu, a race born from the union of angels and wolves. Rimuru meets Momiji, the daughter of the Tengu elder, and sends Benimaru and his team to the Tengu village in the Kusha Mountains to obtain permission for the construction of a road to Thalion.

Benimaru and Albis reach the hidden village in another dimension. There, they encounter Momiji, who is suspicious and believes the two have territorial ambitions. Benimaru explains to her that they only need permission to pass through the mountains and build a tunnel.

A misunderstanding arises when Momiji assumes Albis is a threat. A fight breaks out, which Benimaru has to stop. Momiji only realizes she underestimated Benimaru when her mother Kaede, a former student of Hakuro, intervenes.

Kaede recounts her past and reveals that Hakuro is Momiji’s father. She proposes an alliance on the condition that Benimaru marries Momiji. Benimaru asks for time to consider.

Back in Rimuru’s city, he discusses with his advisors the relationship with the Tengu and the misunderstandings with Frey. Momiji acknowledges her mistake, and the negotiations end successfully. Rimuru and the Tengu agree to help each other.

Benimaru returns and is courted by both Albis and Momiji, while Hakuro supports him. Rimuru observes the situation and notices the new dynamic within his team, leading to a rivalry for Benimaru’s affection.
