It turns out that the lords of Falmuth refuse to pay the reparations owed to Tempest and intend to shift the financial burden onto the former king, who has now been demoted to a viscount. Diablo's manipulations create the conditions for Youm's group, supported by parts of Tempest's military, to intervene and eliminate the problematic lords, securing Youm's rise to power without staging a direct coup.

Elsewhere, Milim expresses her dissatisfaction with the quality of meals her followers prepare using raw ingredients. Rimuru has introduced her to more appealing culinary options, which leads Milim to desire better-prepared food. For Milim's next visit to Tempest, a plan is devised where Rimuru's chefs will teach Milim how to cook, hoping she will use these new skills to her advantage.

Additionally, the episode addresses the expansion of Rimuru's domain. After being officially recognized as a Demon Lord, Rimuru gains control over the entire Jura Forest, in addition to the territories he originally governed. This expansion includes new monster races living in the other half of the forest, who now fall under Rimuru's rule. These groups must acknowledge Rimuru's authority and can be taxed.
