The 24th Detective Conan Movie Trailer Previews Tokyo Jihen Theme Song

TOHO has started streaming a new trailer for the upcoming film Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet (Meitantei Conan: Hiiro no Dangan). The trailer previews the film's theme song "Eien no Fuzaishōmei" (The Eternal Alibi) by the rock band Tokyo Jihen.

In the film's story, Japan is celebrating the upcoming World Sports Games (WSG), the world's largest sporting event, in Tokyo. The "Japanese Bullet," the world's first vacuum-tube-shaped, superconducting linear train, is built with the latest Japanese technology and timed to coincide with the WSG opening ceremonies. The train is designed to travel from Shin Nagoya Station to Tokyo Station at speeds of up to 1,000 kilometers per hour. However, during a party hosted by major sponsors, a bizarre incident occurs, leading to a series of kidnappings of top executives. Conan deduces a possible connection to a series of kidnappings during the WSG 15 years earlier in Boston.
