The 25th Detective Conan film Halloween no Hanayome starts in April 2022

The 25th film adaptation of "Detective Conan," based on the manga by Gosho Aoyama, is titled "Detective Conan: Bride of Halloween" and will premiere on April 15 at Toho cinemas in Japan.

The film is set in Shibuya, Tokyo, where Halloween festivities are in full swing. A wedding is taking place at Shibuya Hikarie. Detective Miwako Sato of the Metropolitan Police is seen in a wedding dress. Suddenly, an attacker storms in, and Detective Wataru Takagi, who was trying to protect Sato, is injured. At the same time, the perpetrator of a series of bombings three years ago escapes from prison, during which Detective Jinpei Matsuda, a former classmate of Rei Furuya at the Metropolitan Police Department's Onizuka Training School and a former lover of Sato, was killed in the line of duty. Rei Furuya, a former classmate of Jinpei at the police academy, tracks down the perpetrator, but a mysterious, costumed figure appears and attaches a collar bomb to his neck. Conan learns from Rei about the incident that happened three years ago and attempts to defuse the collar bomb.
