The 2nd trailer for the TV anime I am the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss reveals the premiere on October 1st

On the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Sarasa Nagase's I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss (Akuyaku Reijō Nanode Last Boss o Katte Mimashita) light novels, the second promotional video and the performer of the ending theme were revealed on Thursday. The trailer previews the opening song "Kyо̄kan Sarenakute mo Ii Janai" by lead actress Rie Takahashi and reveals the anime's premiere date of October 1.



Yen Press has licensed both the novels and the manga adaptation and describes the story as follows:

When her engagement to the prince is abruptly called off, details from the former life of the young noblewoman Aileen surface and help her realize that she’s living in the world of one of her favorite otome games—as the main rival to the heroine! However, her memory has more holes than bad fan fiction… and the only certainty is that her death is all but assured if she doesn’t act fast.
