Kore Yamazaki's "The Ancient Magus' Bride" and "Ghost and Witch" have moved from Mag Garden to Bushiroad Works. These series will continue in Bushiroad Works' new web magazine Comic Groul, launching on December 21. The Ancient Magus' Bride will begin its new story arc, "The Beast Hunt," concurrently with the magazine's debut, while Ghost and Witch will start serialization on December 22.

The latest volume of The Ancient Magus' Bride, Volume 20, is scheduled for release in April 2024 in both standard and limited editions. At the same time, The Ancient Magus' Bride: Fragment Collection, Volume 1—a compilation of earlier short stories—and Ghost and Witch, Volume 2, will also be released. Subsequent volumes of The Ancient Magus' Bride will also be published under the Bushiroad Works label. There will be no changes to the titles, book formats, designs, or title logos of the works.

The Ancient Magus' Bride and Ghost and Witch had been on hiatus since March of this year. Yamazaki expressed her gratitude to Mag Garden for their support in a statement on her X account (formerly Twitter).

The Ancient Magus' Bride, serialized since 2013, follows the story of 15-year-old Chise Hatori, who—lacking family, hope, or magical abilities—is purchased as an apprentice and bride by the inhuman mage Elias. Ghost and Witch is set in Ireland and is a dark fantasy about the cursed girl Sak and an aged witch with silver hair.
