The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2 - Episode 10

In The Ancient Magus' Bride, Season 2, Episode 10, the scene begins with the aftermath of an attack on Seth's driver, who realizes he has survived. The scene shifts to the infirmary, where Seth and Lucy are talking, and Chise joins them.

As Seth, Lucy, and Chise are on their way to the car, they are suddenly attacked by two large werewolf-like creatures. Lucy identifies them as the same beings responsible for her family's murder years ago. After receiving a mysterious message, Chise uses a portal that leads them to a secret passageway, previously shown in Episode 4 of the second season, to escape the pursuing werewolves.

In the secret passage, they encounter a group of creatures called Hound Dogs. The Hound Dogs immediately engage the werewolves in battle. Chise learns that the two werewolves are a pair and hears them calling for their offspring. She then decides to negotiate with the Hound Dogs to ensure safe passage for the werewolves. However, she discovers that one of the werewolves has already been killed.

Meanwhile, Marielle investigates whether Simeon is under a curse and finds that a book called "The Testament of Carnamagos" is being used to strip people of their magical powers.

The setting shifts to a courtyard, where Lucy confronts Chise about her decision to help the werewolves. Lucy is torn, as she is angry at Chise for aiding the creatures involved in her family's death but also grateful because they now have clues about the attack.

In a dramatic turn of events, Lucy suddenly collapses. The episode ends with a scene hinting at the possible involvement of Philomela's grandmother, Lizbeth Sargant, in recent events.
