The animation of the Smart-phone role playing game Granblue Fantasy has announced about the releasing date of the anime through its official website. They informed that the animation will premiere on BS11, Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV and Gunma TV on 1 April at 24:00. After it, it will run on the TV Aichi, MBS, AT-X, Hokkaido Broadcasting Co., Ltd, and Saga TV channels. At that timeslot, the anime Interviews with Monster Girls is serialized on Tokyo MX.
The official website also publicizes the illustration of the SS Rare Character Erste Empire Lieutenant Katalina. According to news, the first Blu-ray volume of the anime will have a special bonus code to obtain her in the game. The two episodes will also have audio commentary by Nao Toyama, Yuuki Ono, and Rie Kugimiya.
