The team behind the anime adaptation of "The Apothecary Diaries," originally a light novel series by Natsu Hyūga and Touko Shino, has announced a series of new details. These updates include the introduction of 13 new cast members as well as information about the series' opening and ending themes.

Regarding the musical elements, the group Ryokuōshoku Shakai has contributed the opening theme titled "Hana ni Natte," which translates to "Become a Flower." Meanwhile, Aina The End will grace the anime with an ending theme called "Aikotoba," or "Password" in English. A main promotional video showcasing these elements has also been released.

The new cast members include:

- Katsuyuki Konishi as Gaoshun

- Atsumi Tanezaki as Gyokuyō

- Yui Ishikawa as Lihua

- Hina Kino as Lishu

- Yuko Kaida as Ah-Duo

- Megumi Han as Meimei

- Ami Koshimizu as Pairin

- Hiroki Nanami as Joka

- Kimiko Saitō as Yarite Babaa (Madam)

- Hiroshi Yanaka as Luomen

- Kenji Akabane as Lihaku

- Misaki Kuno as Xiaolan

- Mitsuaki Kanuka as Yabu Isha (Quack Doctor)

The anime will premiere on October 21 with the first three episodes and will air for two cours (a quarter of a year).
