First visual materials for the second season of the animated series "The Beginning After the End" have been released. The continuation of the adaptation of TurtleMe's work is currently in production.

The announcement was made as part of the New York Comic Con 2025. A first teaser glimpse shows the protagonist Arthur's further developed abilities in dynamic action scenes. Also visible are his new companions Elijah and Lucas, as well as the further development of already known characters.

The released teaser motif shows the main characters in front of a coastal landscape. Arthur is seen with his mask in hand, accompanied by Jasmine, Elijah and Lucas.

The original author TurtleMe, who also acts as story editor for the animated adaptation, commented in a statement on the announcement.

The plot follows a powerful ruler who, after his death, is reborn as a child named Arthur in a fantasy world. There he begins a second life, shaped by magical experiences and interpersonal relationships.

The series is directed by Motonaga Keitarō, while the series concept is by Hirono Takamitsu. The voice cast includes Fujiwara Natsumi as Arthur, Furukawa Makoto as Grey, Omigawa Chaki as Jasmine, Ichinose Kana as Tessia, and Izawa Shiori as Sylvie. For the new characters, Satō Gen as Elijah and Chiba Shōya as Lucas have been cast.
