The official website for the second anime season of the light novel series The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! by Satoshi Wagahara has announced the artists for the title songs of the upcoming sequel. Nano.RIPE will perform the opening song "Hikari no Nai Machi" (City Without Light), while Liyuu will perform the ending song "bloomin'." The highly anticipated sequel is scheduled to premiere in July.

The second season of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! follows the successful first season, which premiered in 2013. This new season is labeled as "Season 2," but it only refers to the series with two exclamation marks, making it the third season of the anime franchise. The sequel is expected to continue the story of Sadao Maō, the Demon King, and his quirky adventures in modern-day Tokyo.

Madoka Asahina joins the cast as Acieth Alla alongside returning cast members such as Ryota Ohsaka, Yōko Hikasa, Nao Tōyama, Yūki Ono, Hiro Shimono, and Kanae Itō. Hina Kino will play the role of Alas Ramus, a mysterious little girl born from an apple.

The new season brings some staff changes. Daisuke Tsukushi and Studio 3Hz have replaced Naoto Hosoda and White Fox, while character designer Yūdai Iino and chief animation director Yoshihiro Takeda have taken over from Atsushi Ikariya. Other returning staff members include Masahiro Yokotani, Ryosuke Nakanishi, Akemi Tejima, Jin Aketagawa, and Lantis.
