The Devil Is a Part-Timer!!: Season 2 release and cast update

Fresh information from the official website of the anime The Devil Is a Part-Timer!!, a beloved adaptation of Satoshi Wagahara's light novel series, offers insights into what the upcoming continuation has in store for fans.

The announcement of the new series includes a promotional video that provides a small taste of the upcoming episode. It offers a preview of the anime's opening and ending themes and informs us about the arrival of three new cast members. The premiere is scheduled for July 13.



The new cast members for the series include Tomokazu Sugita, Megumi Han, and Chikahiro Kobayashi, who will bring the characters Farfarello, Erone, and Camael to life. Madoka Asahina has already been announced to take on the role of Acieth Alla. The soundtrack for the series will feature the opening song "Hikari no Nai Machi" (A City Without Lights) by nano.RIPE and the ending song "bloomin'" by Liyuu.

Several changes have been made to the production teams for the new season. The team from Studio 3Hz, led by Daisuke Tsukushi, has replaced Naoto Hosoda and White Fox. Additionally, Yūdai Iino and Yoshihiro Takeda will take on the roles of character designer and chief animation director, respectively, replacing Atsushi Ikariya, who handled both tasks in the first season.

Returning cast members include Ryota Ohsaka, Yōko Hikasa, Nao Tōyama, Yūki Ono, Hiro Shimono, and Kanae Itō, who will reprise their previous roles. Another character, Alas Ramus, will be played by Hina Kino.
