"The Elusive Samurai" Introduces Shizuku: Character Visuals and Voiceover Revealed

In the anime adaptation of Yusei Matsui's "The Elusive Samurai," new visuals and promo videos for the character Shizuku have been revealed. The role is played by Hinaki Yano, who expressed her excitement and anticipation for the upcoming teamwork and the completion of the anime.





Shizuku is portrayed as a priestess of the Suwa Shrine and serves as a steward for Tokiyuki's loyal band, known as the "Runaway Youth Party." Hinaki Yano said she is looking forward to the interactions between the characters and is curious to see how the team dynamics will develop over the course of the anime. The promotional video also features Shizuku's voice, performed by Yano.

Based on historical events, "The Elusive Samurai" tells the story of Hojo Tokiyuki, the second eldest son of Hojo Takatoki, the leader of the Kamakura Shogunate. After losing everything due to the betrayal of Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki flees Kamakura with the help of Suwa Yorishige, a priest who claims to be a deity. The manga is currently being serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
