The TV anime adaptation of Yūsei Matsui's "The Elusive Samurai" has released a key visual and the first promotional video. The key visual impressively features a burning Kamakura as the backdrop, with Ashikaga Takauji turning around to face the viewer. Beside him stand members of the "Towakugun," including Hōjō Tokiyuki, stretching out their hands as if to unite their strength.

In the first video sequence, the voices of the "Towakugun" characters as well as Suwa Yorishige can be heard, adding further depth to the portrayal of these historical figures.

"The Elusive Samurai" is a historical escape story based on real events, centering around Hōjō Tokiyuki, the second son of Hōjō Takatoki, the last regent of the Kamakura Shogunate. After losing everything due to Ashikaga Takauji's rebellion, Tokiyuki flees Kamakura under the guidance of the priest Suwa Yorishige, who claims to be a god. The story follows Tokiyuki's survival and overcoming the turbulent waves of the era through evasion and resilience.
