Kadokawa has fueled anticipation for the second season of Daisuke Aizawa's anime adaptation "The Eminence in Shadow" with a freshly shot promotional video. The video is not just a teaser but also serves as a platform for the new opening theme "Grayscale Dominator," a musical piece created by OxT. The duo is no stranger to the series—they also provided the acoustic introduction for the first season.



The season, scheduled for October, will consist of 12 episodes. The team remains largely intact, as Studio Nexus retains its core staff for this new season.

Fans of the series will once again follow Cid, the protagonist who prefers to operate in the shadows rather than bask in the spotlight. His imaginary world becomes complicated when he discovers that the cult he invented for his own stories is actually real—and not exactly pleased with his interference.
