Episode 13 begins with a shocking revelation: Sunagawa murders his own ally, the man who was tasked with attacking Misaki. This act exposes Sunagawa's ruthless plan to eliminate anyone who knows about his scheme to kill Kojima. The hired hitman realizes that he and his partner are safe for now, as Sunagawa still needs them.

The scene shifts to Kojima, who wakes up tied to a chair, facing Takeshi and Fable. During a tense interrogation, Kojima's past is brought to light, including a 15-year prison sentence for the murder of a respected woman. After sending Fable away, Takeshi unexpectedly shoots Kojima, ending his life.

Fable seeks refuge with Yoko. Coincidentally, Misaki also shows up, having lost her handbag containing important items. A delicate situation arises when Misaki falls in the bathroom, and Fable must help her while respecting her privacy.

Meanwhile, Takeshi asks Matsu, the specialist in cleanup work, to bury Kojima's body intact and refuses to participate in the disposal himself. During this conversation, Matsu's possible involvement in selling a weapon to Kojima comes to light, though Matsu denies it.

The plot intensifies as Takeshi confronts Sunagawa and reveals his knowledge of Sunagawa's murder plans. Sunagawa, curious about Fable's identity, persistently questions Takeshi, who skillfully deflects. Takeshi emphasizes that their problems are resolved and demands that Sunagawa leave Misaki alone.

Later, Takeshi informs Kuro about Sunagawa's awareness of Fable and stresses the critical need for secrecy. Driven by curiosity, Kuro begins his own investigation into Fable's identity, questioning his allies about the mysterious masked figure. He cleverly disguises his interest as concern over Kojima's disappearance.
