"The Fable," the manga series by Katsuhisa Minami, is being adapted into a TV anime, as revealed in a recently released teaser trailer.

The adaptation of the award-winning manga is being directed by Ryousuke Takahashi of Tezuka Productions. Yƫya Takashima, a renowned science fiction author, will collaborate with Mayumi Morita to shape the narrative and oversee the series' scripts. The animated characters will be brought to life by a design team consisting of Hisama Kinoshita, Saki Hasegawa, and Junichi Hayama.

The original manga "The Fable," first published in 2014 and running until 2019, spans 22 volumes. It won the Best General Manga award at the 41st annual Kodansha Awards in 2017. The story revolves around a legendary hitman nicknamed "The Fable," who kills with ease but struggles to adapt to a life without violence.
