"The Family Circumstances of the Imbalanced Witch" reveals new cast and theme song

The anime adaptation of Piroya's manga "Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō" ("The Family Circumstances of the Imbalanced Witch") recently released its main promotional video. The video showcases the new cast members and offers a preview of the theme song "Welcome!" performed by the band angela.



The latest cast additions include Katsuyuki Konishi as Pond, the husband of Lyra, who runs a secondhand shop. Junichi Suwabe lends his voice to Auri, the father of Alissa. Finally, Ikue Ōtani will bring to life Doku-Koala, a mysterious creature.

The story revolves around a lonely witch named Alissa who lives in the forest. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a human baby, whom she names Viola. Over the course of 16 years, Alissa raises Viola, who develops in ways that surprise even her witch mother. The series promises a comedy full of twists, centered around a parent-child relationship where it’s not always clear who is the parent and who is the child.
