The Faraway Paladin expands the cast and releases its fourth promotional video

The fourth promotional video and new cast members for the TV anime "Saiban no Paladin" were revealed during the special program. Kenji Nomura plays the adventurer Raystof, Minoru Inaba plays the temple head Bagley, and Atsushi Tamaru plays Ethelvald, the royal brother of the Kingdom of Fartile.



The special program also announced that the two Blu-ray Disc box sets of the anime have been delayed in Japan to improve quality.

The anime premiered in Japan on October 9. Crunchyroll streams the series as it airs.

The Novel Club describes the series' story as follows:

In a long-destroyed city of the dead, far removed from human civilization, lives a single human child. His name is Will, and he is raised by three undead beings: the hearty skeletal warrior Blood, the graceful mummified priestess Mary, and the eccentric ghost wizard Gus. The three shower the boy with love and teach him everything they know. But one day, Will begins to wonder: "Who am I?" Will must unravel the secrets of this distant land of the dead and uncover the hidden pasts of the undead. He must learn of the love and mercy of the good gods and the hypocrisy and madness of the evil gods. And once he knows it all, the boy will take his first step on the path to becoming a paladin.
