The second season of Kanata Yanagino's anime adaptation "The Faraway Paladin," subtitled "The Lord of Rust Mountain," recently revealed details about the artists performing the theme songs. Nagi Yanagi will contribute the opening song "Meika" (Fire of Life), while KOTOKO will perform the ending song "Puzzle."

The broadcast of the upcoming season is scheduled for the fall and will be available worldwide on Crunchyroll starting in October, excluding Asia and the Indian subcontinent.

Regarding the cast, Shōya Chiba will voice the adult version of Will. Maki Kawase retains her role as the voice of the younger Will, continuing her performance from the first season. Other cast members, including Ayumu Murase, Eri Suzuki, Koji Yusa, Kenji Nomura, Minoru Inaba, Atsushi Tamaru, Aoi Yūki, Katsuyuki Konishi, Yui Horie, and Nobuo Tobita, will also return for the series.

Unlike the first season, Akira Iwanaga will serve as the new director, with animation production handled by OLM and Sunrise Beyond. Tatsuya Takahashi is in charge of the series' scripts, and Tatsuya Arai will assist Koji Haneda as character designer. The music composition is handled by Ryuuichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi of MONACA.
