The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yoruhashi's manga The Kingdoms of Ruin (Hametsu no Ōkoku) has released its first promotional video, thrilling fans and heightening anticipation for the series' premiere in October.

The anime features Kaito Ishikawa as the voice of Adonis and Azumi Waki as Doroka, while Ryoko Shiraishi plays the role of Chloe. Keitaro Motonaga is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab. Takamitsu Kouno is in charge of the series' scripts. Hiromi Kato is designing the characters. The music is composed by Miki Sakurai, Shu Kanematsu, and Hanae Nakamura.

The story revolves around the conflict between science and magic in a world where humans and wizards once coexisted peacefully. However, a scientific revolution has rendered the powers of witches obsolete, leading to widespread fear and hatred. A brutal witch hunt ensues, culminating in the extermination of all witches. Adonis, a witch's apprentice, witnesses the death of his beloved mentor and vows revenge on the empire responsible for the devastation.

Yoruhashi's ongoing manga first debuted in April 2019 in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden.
