The anticipated TV anime adaptation of Yoruhashi's manga The Kingdoms of Ruin (Hametsu no Ōkoku) is set to premiere in October of this year, according to the official website. The website also revealed that Ryoko Shiraishi will voice the character Chloe in the anime.

The series stars Kaito Ishikawa as Adonis and Azumi Waki as Doroka. Keitaro Motonaga directs the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab, while Takamitsu Kouno oversees the series scripts. Hiromi Kato designs the characters, and Miki Sakurai, Shu Kanematsu, and Hanae Nakamura compose the music.

The manga is described as follows: "Humans once lived in harmony with witches, but an advanced scientific revolution rendered witches' powers obsolete. Out of bitterness and fear, the world's greatest nation begins a brutal witch hunt to eradicate all witches from the land. After witnessing the death of his beloved mentor, the witch's apprentice Adonis vows revenge on the empire that took everything from him. A bloody battle between science and magic unfolds in this thrilling new manga series!"

Yoruhashi began serializing The Kingdoms of Ruin in Mag Garden's monthly Comic Garden magazine in April 2019.
