The novel "The Magician Kunon Can See" by Kaifu Minano is being adapted into an anime. To celebrate this announcement, the author has released a message, while the illustrator Laruha and the manga adaptation artist La-na have contributed congratulatory illustrations.

The story follows Kunon, a boy who has been blind since birth. Instead of resigning to his fate, he devotes himself to the study of magic. Within just five months, he surpasses the abilities of his teacher. His ultimate goal is to create his own eyes using magic. With his relentless thirst for knowledge, he explores magical tools and spells to forge a new future for himself.

The manga adaptation is currently serialized in Monthly Comic Alive (KADOKAWA). So far, six volumes of the original novel and five volumes of the manga have been released.
