The novel The Magician of the Water Element by Hisatami Tada will be adapted into a TV anime in July. Along with this announcement, details about the voice cast, production team, first preview, and a teaser visual were released.

The Magician of the Water Element tells the story of Ryō, a young man who is reborn into another world and possesses a special talent for water magic. He awakens in the mystical forest of the Rhond continent and begins an independent life while honing his magical abilities. Whether due to his carefree personality or his hidden ability of eternal youth—Ryō eventually becomes one of the most powerful magicians of humanity. His encounter with the genius swordsman Abel eventually draws him into the center of the story, where he changes the course of the world. The original novel consists of seven volumes in its first part, while the second part is currently being serialized. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Bokuten Gyō, will release its sixth volume on January 15.

Ayumu Murase voices the protagonist Ryō, while Kazu Urawa plays Abel, the talented swordsman. Kaede Hondo takes on the role of the adventurer Sera, an elf. The series is directed by Hideyuki Satake, with Jun Kumagai handling series composition, and Yūka Kozutsumi in charge of character design. The animation is jointly produced by Typhoon Graphics and Wonderland. Author Hisatami expressed his excitement about the upcoming anime adaptation in a statement.
