The New Gate - Episode 10

In Episode 10, Shin meets Princess Rionne, who initially mistakes him for a murderer. Thanks to his ability "Intuition" and a letter of recommendation from the Moon Sanctuary, however, she quickly comes to trust him. To test his skills, Rionne challenges Shin to a duel and leads him to a mysterious ancient training ground.

During the duel, both fighters showcase their abilities, with Shin adjusting his stats to match Rionne's strength. Though their skills are evenly matched, Shin suggests ending the duel when Rionne's sword reaches its limits. Impressed by Shin's prowess, Rionne offers him a position in her kingdom, which Shin declines in favor of his adventuring life. They agree that Rionne will keep a powerful sword as tribute, granting Shin limited access to the magical library.

Their conversation is abruptly interrupted when Cardinal Greril, under the influence of enchantment and confusion spells, triggers a teleportation that transports Shin and Rionne to the ruined Holy Land of Calkia. Realizing they are alone, they decide to rendezvous with Shin's companions in the nearby town of Valmer.

Snow, who is telepathically informed of the situation, prepares to support Shin and investigate the source of the mind control. She discovers that a demon named Magnumuk is behind the conspiracy. Magnumuk, a demon of Earl rank, attempts to manipulate Snow by insinuating that her master has abandoned her, but Snow remains resolute and self-assured.

At the castle, Snow informs King Jayon and his advisors of the demonic threat and the safety of the teleported individuals. They decide to keep the incident secret to avoid public panic. Snow sets out to meet Shin in Valmer, demonstrating her remarkable speed and determination.
